The Lookout
You’ll know if it’s working before you’re out of bed.
The Lookout is a 27 ft trailer facing the La Fortuna break. Check the waves from bed, take your coffee out to the porch, and come back to the same spot at sunset.
It sleeps three. With two kids it fits a family of four, so it works for a couple, a solo surfer or a small family.
Outside
The porch.
A covered porch with a hammock and rocking chairs, your own fire pit and an outdoor hot shower for rinsing off after a surf.
The shared palapa is there for meals, reading or work, and there’s private parking for your car. The salt water pool is open to every guest from 7 AM to 8 PM.
About the space
What’s inside.
A comfortable bed and a pull-out sofa, air conditioning, and a kitchen with a 3-burner stove, oven, fridge, freezer and a French press. The bathroom has a hot shower, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
Bath and beach towels are included. Power comes from solar, and the Starlink Wi-Fi runs at 150 to 200 Mbps.

The dogs
Koa, Maya and Marley will greet you loudly when you pull in, then settle down fast. Most guests end up playing fetch with them. Chamoy is the cat everyone falls for.

The break is right in front of the trailer, a short walk down. Nine Palms and Shipwrecks are a few minutes’ drive, and there are about 30 waves along this stretch of coast.
